Overview

More than 15 years computer industry experience in programming, systems analysis, consulting, management, support, training, and marketing. Developed numerous vertical market and custom database applications for PC and Apple Macintosh using Microsoft FoxPro, Microsoft Windows, and ACI US 4th Dimension. Authorized Apple Computer VAR. Mainframe computer background in COBOL, TSO, JCL, Profs, MVS and hardware operation and support. A creative, articulate achiever with excellent organizational, analytical, technical, and people skills.

Experience

1988-Present: Principal, 7STAR Computer Solutions – Developed FoxPro and Windows applications, including Sales Rep Remote Ordering, Customer Remote Ordering, Purchase Order Tracking System, and Service Accounting. Beta tester for Microsoft FoxPro. Developed numerous 4th Dimension vertical market and custom applications. Familiar with C, Pascal, and Macintosh Toolbox programming. Provides programming, software, hardware, networking, hardware/software support and desktop publishing services for Macintosh and PC. Provides accounting application installation and support for several accounting software vendors. Hired and supervised staff and contract programmers and technical writers.

1980-1987: Manager and Computer Analyst, Pacific Bell – Responsible for over 250 microcomputers (both Macintoshes and PCs) statewide. Developed microcomputer standards (first in the company) covering the areas of security, hardware/software selection, hardware maintenance, application development, new technology implementation, and computer literacy. Managed all application development and maintenance. Administered microcomputer budgets totaling more than $3,000,000.
